The Passaic Valley Education Association (PVEA) represents 100 members, including teachers and guidance counselors in the Passaic Valley Regional school district.

The PVEA upholds the contracts the association negotiates with the board of education, and advocates for its members’ professional rights.

In addition, the PVEA supports many projects and activities that benefit our schools, students, and community. Through the NJEA Pride program, we have funded a free chap stick giveaway at the 2020 Girls show event, and look forward to doing many more to connect the PVEA with the community members.

Studies show that strong professional associations such as the PVEA effectively advocate for their students and communities. School districts with strong professional associations like the PVEA also have better educational outcomes for students.

We are proud of the work we do in COMMUNITY and we are proud to be a strong partner in public education!
